1. About Ventureship

Ventureship Ltd ("Ventureship", "we", "us") operates a platform connecting students with companies through structured, real-world work experience projects ("Ventureships"). By using our platform, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Student accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Work you submit through Ventureships must be your own original work. Plagiarism or AI-generated submissions passed off as your own will result in account suspension.
• By submitting work, you grant the company a non-exclusive licence to use it for evaluation purposes. You retain ownership of your intellectual property.
• Psychometric assessment results are used solely to recommend suitable Ventureships and are not shared with employers as a screening tool.

4. Company accounts

• Companies agree to provide genuine, meaningful project briefs.
• Companies must not use student submissions commercially without separate written agreement.
• Companies must review and score student submissions within a reasonable timeframe.
• Access to the student database is subject to the company's subscription plan.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content without permission
• Submit false, misleading, or offensive content
• Use automated tools to interact with the platform without permission

6. Intellectual property

The Ventureship platform, brand, design, and content are owned by Ventureship Ltd. The psychometric scoring methodology and recommendation algorithms are proprietary and confidential.

Students retain ownership of all work they submit. Companies receive a limited licence to review and evaluate submissions within the platform.

7. Pricing and payments

Student accounts are currently free during our early access period. Subscription pricing may be introduced in the future with advance notice. Company pricing is available on request.

All prices shown to UK companies are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

8. Limitation of liability

Ventureship is a platform connecting students and companies. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, project quality, or specific results. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the platform, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your settings. Data deletion is processed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
